Fall and winter have come so fast this year! The holidays are a fun time for me and my family… We have lots of gatherings packed into November and December. But with so many gatherings, I want a nice outfit for each of them! So I thought we’d put together a collection of outfits you can sew for each occasion! Over the next week we’ll give you outfit inspiration for date night, Thanksgiving, Black Friday shopping, football game night and bonfires, and Christmas tree shopping and lighting–all using Laela Jeyne Patterns!
We’ve got some awesome bloggers joining us on this tour! We chose 10 bloggers who are cream of the crop as well as our Laela Jeyne group admin team to bring you a total of 16 outfit inspirations! I will also be sharing some of my makes during the tour. The tour is going to be a blast and I’m excited to see the final pictures from everyone because the in progress pictures have been amazing! In addition to viewing all the stylish outfits, there will be a HUGE giveaway that we’ll draw 3 winners for! So be sure to check out our makes each day and thanks for joining us! (See the graphics at the end of the post to get a preview of the giveaway!) And if that wasn’t enough, we’ll be giving you a 20% of your entire cart coupon to use on these patterns!
To whet you appetite, I’m going to share two of my makes today! I used my Samantha Swing dress pattern to create a hi-lo elbow sleeve tunic with a cowl. I actually wore this last night to attend my grandma’s 85th birthday party! It was perfectly paired with a pair of skinnies and my wedge boots.
I made this Samantha from Art Gallery’s scrumptious knit in Panache Profundo. It is seriously top quality!
I also made a hooded cowl Sydney Slouchy Raglan with Art Gallery’s Triangle Token Knit and a piece of scrap gray knit I have on hand. I am currently wearing this hoodie and I can’t take it off. It is way too comfortable! This raglan would be perfect for Black Friday shopping when you’re stuck in line waiting for that extra special toy your kid can’t do without this year! Or, you could pair it with leggings and shop from your computer, which is what I’ll be doing!
As you can tell, I like navy! I told Cassandra that if there was a tour named after my closet, it would be called the Navy and Gray Tour… but Mostly Navy! You’ll see a few more of my navy colored fall makes this week and I can’t wait to show them off!
Here is a full schedule of the blog posts on this tour! The links are not active now but will all be active at the end of this week (November 18th 2016)
So now to the exciting prizes for the tour! We have some awesome sponsors pictured below and we’ll be drawing 3 names for a Grand prize, 2nd prize, and 3rd prize. I hope you’re just as excited to see all the makes on this tour as I am!
