Do you love those traditional two piece pajama sets? The kind that you can just see yourself sitting on the couch with a cup of your favorite hot chocolate (or coffee!)? Well, you’re in luck because the Comfy Cozy PJ’s are just that!
The pattern comes in sizes XS to XXL which converts to sizes 0 to 22 women’s. (SHH… Don’t tell the men, but this pattern is perfect for them too!) It also has the option to pick layers when printing so that you can print only the size(s) you want. The pants come in high and low rise and come with 28″ and 30″ inseam lengths. It also comes with instructions on how to lengthen them if needed. There are cuffs on the sleeves and pant/short hems and a nice collar. Pockets on the chest and side seams are included but optional. Because these pajamas are so comfortable, I had to make them for all seasons so I put in lengths for shorts and short sleeves!
The most fun part of this pattern is picking the fabric! If you love to sew, you probably love fabric as well. I could spend a week in a fabric warehouse, just petting and drooling…. Whoops! Forgot I was writing a post for everyone to read! Anyways, you can use anything from calico or quilting cotton to satin. Flannel, rayon blend knit, cotton lycra, fleece, minky… You’ll have to make yourself so many pairs with all the different fabric combos! My awesome testers had so much fun coming up all kinds of fabric combos.
The testers also had great reviews about how comfortable these pajamas are. Many of them planned to make multiple pairs because they are so fun and easy to make!
So have I convinced you to buy the pattern? Not yet? What if I said, I would take the time to help you get through them with a sew along? That’s right! The Comfy Cozy Pajama Sew Along is happening next week on January 11th-15th! Just join our group on Facebook, grab your pattern, and get your fabric ready! I will be posting the steps everyday and answering questions on the group wall so if you’re uneasy about sewing your first pair, don’t be! I am ready and willing to help!
So now that I HAVE convinced you, get your pattern here and I can’t wait to do the sew along with you!
